A Little Girl's Wishes

What would it be like to live your life without “yeah, but…” beginning each of your sentences?  To live without excuses and without limiting beliefs to stop you in taking action to create the life you love?  You may not remember, but you used to live like that.  Yes, I promise…you really did! Children are not created with limiting beliefs, but rather, they learn limitations from their parents and from exposure to the negativity in this world that too often infects and becomes the focus of our lives.

I was reminded of this when I received an email containing something my boyfriend’s 8yr old daughter had typed up while visiting her grandma’s office.  It was a list of her 10 wishes.  Her list was insightful and full of love for the people around her including:   1. To be known for doing great things and 3. To help all the homeless people out there.
But the one that blew my mind was:  7. TO BE RICH WITH LOVE.
Wow.  What a powerful statement for someone so young.  Money is not what makes you rich.  It’s love!  And she knows that because she hasn’t forgotten the intrinsic knowledge that we were all born with.  She hasn’t yet covered it up with teachings and beliefs that do not have to be true!

I guarantee you…this little girl will change the world.  And I do hope that her #2 wish comes true too.
2.  To be the FIRST black lady president of the WORLD.

Obviously, our country is not big enough for her.  She wants to inspire the world.  And I guarantee that she will!
